Love Via Italia! The food is fresh and tastes almost like NY Italian. In fact, this is our home away from home place. Service is fantastic. All the servers are friendly and knowledgeable and have been spot on with their recommendations.

A Truly Amazing Dining Experience! Everything about this place was perfect—from the warm, welcoming atmosphere to the impeccable Italian cuisine. Every bite was a delight, with crisp textures and unique, unforgettable flavors. The music was just right—pleasant but quiet enough to enjoy a great conversation with my daughter. Our waiter struck the perfect balance of being friendly and attentive without hovering. I would recommend this restaurant to absolutely everyone!

Some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had. Very nice and clean restaurant. Food bursting with flavor, seriously the bruschetta was the best I’d ever had. The pasta was spot on and the half size plates were great sizing and price (I love that the restaurant offers that). Top notch tiramisu. Also so many vegetarian options and they are accommodating if you want something removed. We left with every plate completely cleared.

Came here on a recommendation from a friend. I really enjoyed the upbeat atmosphere in a cozy Italian bistro like cafe. Service was fast, friendly, and exceptional. We only ordered pizza for this first visit. My only critique was that the sauce could have had more flavor. Plenty of cheese and quality ingredients for toppings. We will be going back soon to try a meal. The meals looked incredible. I am very pleased with this restaurant on our first visit.

4.5 stars for me! When an establishment is filled w/ regulars, & an Italian restaurant hosts numerous customers sporting Italian accents, you KNOW you are in the right place! I eat here often. Their dishes are always excellent. Service is as well. The bar stools are usually full. Cleanliness is paramount. I wholeheartedly recommend not leaving your table before paying 25 for the BEST fig jam woodfired pizza ANYWHERE! I have introduced it to many, & all are now addicts:) SEE PIC! It's even delicious on Day #2 after a stint in my air fryer! I love anything the chefs create that is accompanied by this restaurant's DELICIOUS red sauce, including their Egg Plant Lasagna. Their pasta w/ vodka sauce is primo! And the other pastas are worthy contenders. If you want a delicious salad, opt for the one w/ walnuts-- Mmmmmmm... just wonderful! And don't forget to try their crepes & many Italian desserts! THIS NEW TAMPA area restaurant should be on your calendar! Definitely AUTHENTIC ITALIAN

I'm half Sicilian, I love pasta, and I have an inappropriate relationship with cheeses. I usually eat pasta and feel not so great afterward... I always figured it was the cost of the ticket to ride the train...that is until I noticed it was where the wheat was sourced from. When I make it a point to source my pasta from the old country, that's not the case. That was the same here with Via Italia: it was not only cooked well, they have better ingredients, I devoured a full order of pasta and bread and I felt like I could run a half marathon. You guys have a real gem here of italian food. The pasta is top notch, my friends raved about the calzone, loved their pizza, and another commented that the lasagna was easily one of the best in Tampa. Molto bene!!!

Absolutely loved this dining experience and knew it would be good when every seat was filled when we walked in on a weeknight! Their founder was from Sicily and the food is incredibly authentic to Italy. We ordered the burrata with grilled vegetables, eggplant parmigiana, red pesto pasta and Diavolo pizza. Everything had fantastic flavors and rich, bold sauces. The tomatoes tasted sweet and citrusy like the ones grown in Italian soil. I loved that each dish had attention to detail, like the sweet-tanginess of the vinaigrette drizzled on the mellow burrata cheese served with smoky charred vegetables and oregano dusted crostini, it all harmonizes and balances every component of highlighted flavors. The pizza had a nice bitterness of arugula with a hearty mozzarella and marinara based pie, I also really enjoyed the crispness of the crust. I really think the pastas are a highlight of the venue, lots of people ordered the vongole around us, so will definitely be back to try that next time. If you’re a fan of eggplant parm, the one they serve here is not to be missed. It hits all the savory notes and is topped with the freshest melted mozzarella cheese. I was so grateful to find this restaurant, it is absolutely one of the best dining options in the area and for a busy night, the service was fantastic and attentive as well!

Really good Italian food served here. The lasagna is excellent. The meatballs are also very good. Friendly service. Pleasant atmosphere.
